A very nice establishment. Service is outstanding, English is limited. 4700 pesos for 7 of us so not too bad, but pricy for Merida. Food was good but there is definitely better.

They have a beautiful indoor courtyard. The music is romantic classic music. The cheese empanadas were cheesy. The parrillada meal perfect for 2 people and came with handmade tortillas. Tres leches cake was yummy. Great fast service. Local beer. They have the underground food reveal at 3 pm all the way in the back of the restaurant. Authentic Yucatan cooking.

If you want to try a wide variety of traditional Yucatecan dishes, this is a must-visit spot. The food here feels more high-quality and healthier compared to similar dishes at the market. Beyond the food, you can also watch how tortillas and *cochinita pibil* are made by hand in the backyard, which makes it a great place for an authentic experience. The staff are friendly, and the space itself is beautiful. If a friend were visiting Yucatan, this is definitely a place I'd want to take them to.

What a Gem! By far the best restaurant we have come across in our Mexico travels. The food was excellent and the restraunt was amazingl with a beautiful large courtyard and even an air conditioned dining area as well. The staff were very friendly and our waitress spoke English. She was able to understand any adjustments we needed with our meals.

Wow. I was blown away by everything we tried and how gorgeous the atmosphere was. The best restaurant we’ve been to, hands down, in our 1 week in Merida. Every dish was well seasoned, tasted fresh, and looked amazing. Each cocktail was crafted beautifully and even the flan was amazing (I’m usually not a fan of flan). We will definitely be back!

This is not so much a museum, as an excellent restaurant, with a shop and display. The museum of Yucataca Is Gastronomy, is an excellent restaurant with typical Yucatan dishes that you will not find anywhere else. We found that the food was excellent, and the portions were very large. I made an entire meal of the shrimp appetizer, while my companions ate the negro relleno, pibil, a tasty Yucatan tamale, and other dishes. The food was good, and note that the prices match the quality of the food. Afterwards we hit the store / museum. It talks about different ingredients, how food is prepared, and they have artifacts from the time. The restaurant is worth visiting for the food!
